Team Barracuda is our summer swim team and is a member of the
Western Tidewater Swim Association (WTSA).

$100 per swimmer*
Registration fee per family is WAIVED.

TBD Price increase plus a registration fee per family* *Deduct $10 for each additional swimmer in a family registered after the tirst swimmer. For example, it registering 3 swimmers during the early bird period, the first swimmer would be $100, the second swimmer would be $90, and the third swimmer would be
$80, for a total of $270.

Swim Eligibility.

Ages 5-18 are welcome to participate. Each swimmer’s family must have an active membership with The Riverfront Swim Club or Founders Pointe Residents’ Club in order to register for swim team. Swimmer must be able to swim 1 length (25 yards or meters) of the pool, unassisted, using any stroke. There are no exceptions. Summer swim is meant to be a positive and fun experience for all ages,
but it is not a place to learn to swim. For swim lessons, please reach out to The Riverfront

Volunteering
Summer swim does not work without family volunteers. The coaches are busy coaching.
We require each family to provide at least 1 volunteer for at least 3 of the meets. A family may choose to opt out of volunteering for the season for an additional fee of $150. If you choose to opt out of volunteering, the $150 must be paid prior to the first meet or your swimmers) will not be eligible. If you do not opt out but instead choose to skip a volunteer assignment without prior notice to the team or finding your own replacement you will be invoiced $150, and your swimmer will not be eligible until the opt
out fee is paid

Evening Practices:

  • Thursday 7-9pm at Founders Pointe Residents’ Club
    Morning Practice:
  • Thursday 8-9am at The Riverfront Swim Club for ALL ages.
    Age Practice Breakdown:
  • 7-7:30pm 6 and under age group
  • 7-8pm ages 7-8 year age group
